Building a better foundation to support business growth.
Orientations
An orientation that is informative and helps employees understand what they need to know about the company is one of the best things a company can do. A properly constructed orientation will not only help the new-hires get to know key personnel, but it will make them feel as though they are more a part of the organization. This will greatly help with retention and reduce the amount of time management will have to spend with the employee.
Reduce management workload and time spent related to questions.
Increase productivity, because new-hires know more about what is taking place.
Start each relationship with a new-hire on a more solid foundation.
Reduce new-hire stress by helping them understand the benefits, management, expectations and the other worries that come with a new position.
Organizational Development
Simply put, an Organizational Development practitioner is to an organization as a physician is to a human body. The practitioner “diagnoses” the most important priorities to address in the organization, suggests a change-management plan, and then guides the organization through the necessary change.
We use questionnaires and in person interviews for this service. The more information we can get from each employee the more accurate the data contained in the report.
We look at six key areas of an organization which are:
Purpose - Goal clarity and goal agreement
Structure - Division of labor
Rewards - Do tasks have proper incentives to motivate toward goals.
Helpful Mechanisms - Adequate coordinating technologies
Relationships - Management of conflict between people and technology
Leadership - Individual(s) that ensures balance between these areas
