The primary goal of this program is to teach participants with leadership skills how to lead effectively.  Helping them build skills that will advance them within the organization.  Learn philosophy’s on leadership and ethics allowing them to utilize their skills to move from a management position to a leader.

Change is Coming...Can You Manage It?
Learn concepts for initiating organizational change, strategies for leading change initiatives, and principles for sustaining change.
Handling the Difficult Employee
Participants will learn a six - step intervention process to deal effectively with a difficult employee, including discipline and terminations. By reading case studies and demonstrating knowledge by successfully performing workbook and in class exercises.
Harassment Prevention (AB-1825)
To develop a strong participant awareness of different types of harassment, methods to be proactive, and the potential ramifications of this serious issue.  Management responsibilities relating to this issue will be discussed as well.  Participants will demonstrate progressive knowledge of the subject by taking a pre and post-test for a comparison score of the subject.
Making Meetings Work
Teaches participants how to set-up and run effective meetings.  Includes how to develop agendas, communication flow, who to include, and how to keep the meeting on track.
Recruiting, Employment, Selection
Provides participants with the philosophy and strategies related to workforce planning, , initiatives, legal basis, liabilities, processes, decisions, and key pointers for managers on best practices related to the hiring decisions.
Leadership
Introduces sound modern leadership philosophies and best practices.  Concepts are what makes a good leader, characteristic of a good leader , differences between leadership and management, and understanding people.
Leadership II
Participants will gain exposure to different examples of leadership and will explore the pros and cons of different styles.  Focusing on “how to” for getting results and leading people.
Mentoring
Outlines specific techniques for mentoring and coaching employees, as well as, what the role of the mentee is.  Provides an understanding of the mentoring process and how the relationship is expected to benefit all stakeholders.
High Performance Organizations
Centered on the nature of work, teams, leadership philosophy, vision and values, and systems strategies and structures.
High Performance Organizations II
An in depth look at how to implement various strategies and specific tools that can be used to get positive results and higher performance.
