First Line Supervisor Program
The role of the supervisor and team leader has become increasingly important in ensuring productivity goals are met and resources are managed efficiently. This program is designed to increase the effectiveness of first-line supervisors, managers and team leaders- those new to the role, those seeking a new prospective, and those growing within the organization.
The goal of the program is to educate the student on different principles of working with an understanding the colleagues in their workplace; also, to establish basic knowledge of management and legal issues. Throughout the program students demonstrate their understanding of topics through exercises and practicing skills at home. The success of the program or classes rely on the ability of the participant to use the transfer of learning to the workplace.

To make participants more aware of their attitude, they’re most precious possession and how to keep it more positive in all of their relationships. Participants will learn methods of how to view things, as well as, how other view them.

Diversity in the Workplace
Allow participants to explore their thoughts on diversity then explore the benefits of diversity. Using critical thinking and exercises help the participant to be more open, aware, and considerate of diversity trends and issues.
Conflict Resolution
Participants will learn methods and techniques to prevent, mediate, negotiate, intervene, and resolve conflicts between employees by setting expectations and using different communication and attitude techniques.
Goals and Goal Setting
Participants will learn the difference between an idea and a goal, how to establish goals, and development of the process to obtain a goal.
Solving People Problems at Work
Participants will learn how to suppress their own internal patterns of negative thinking that undermine self-esteem, as well as, how to handle negativity from others. Participants will demonstrate these skills with exercises.
Time Management
Participants will learn how to self-discipline themselves to become better time managers and reduce stress caused by lack of planning and proper time management. Demonstration of knowledge will be successfully performing various checklists and exercises.
Controlling Your Stress
Participants will learn the different levels of stress and how to control those levels to live both a physically and mentally healthier life. Demonstration of knowledge will be successfully performing exercises.
How to Discipline Employees
Participants will learn a six-step intervention process to deal effectively with discipline and terminations. Demonstrating knowledge of case studies and exercises.
Selection and Hiring
Participants will learn how to effectively evaluate candidates during the hiring process using various exercises.
Time and Attendance Management
Participants will learn easy and cost effective processes to help control attendance problems. Demonstration of various processes will be shown with exercises.
Harassment Prevention (AB-1825)
To develop a strong participant awareness of different types of harassment, methods to be proactive, and the potential ramifications of this serious issue. Management responsibilities relating to this issue will be discussed as well. Participants will demonstrate progressive knowledge of the subject by taking a pre and post-test for a comparison score of the subject.
